How to Index Your Website on Google
If site:yourdomain.com is empty, you're not in the argument yet. Indexing is step one. Ranking is step two. Don't mix them up.
To index a website on Google: make sure robots.txt allows crawling, pages aren't noindex, submit sitemap.xml in Search Console, and request indexing on key URLs. - No accidental noindex on money pages.
- HTTPS, canonicals that point at yourself.
- Submit sitemap in GSC. Request indexing on the home page and 2–3 guides.
Indexed but no traffic
That's not getting traffic and rank higher. Indexing isn't the bottleneck anymore.
After you leave WordPress
Keep the URLs. We write sitemap.xml and don't noindex the public site. Customer dashboards stay noindex. That's how you stay in Google.

How do I get Google to index my site?
Allow crawlers in robots.txt, remove noindex, submit a sitemap in Search Console, and request indexing. Give it days, not minutes.
Why isn't my new page indexed?
Too new, blocked, canonical elsewhere, or thin. Check URL Inspection in GSC.
Will a migration drop me from the index?
Not if URLs stay identical and the sitemap is submitted after cutover. That's our default.
